Washington D.C.

My best friend graduated from physician assistant (PA) school, earning her masters degree in public health, as well as PA. I was lucky enough (as well as tremendously excited) to fly out and celebrate with her. The weather was warm and sunny the whole time I was there- Jason’s parents said it poured rain Friday morning before I got there, but in the early afternoon when I arrived it had stopped- and that was the only bad weather when I was there!photo 2-4

I also saw my friends Will and Mike who live out there. Will just finished going to doctor of osteopathy school, and his residency now is in a hospital in DC for the next three years, so it was great to see them too! There was a boat cruise that we went on Sunday night, and they joined us for that.

Although DC was tiring (I don’t have as much energy as I used to), it was good to get out of Colorado and see some friends. It was a whirlwind, but I’m so happy I went! Jason got a job in Denver, so in a few days, Alex will move back to Colorado. Finally!! I’ve missed her so much, and it will be great to have them back in the state.
